The images on the left show the old quarter of Oviedo, Asturias. This photograph was taken on the very edge of the pavement in order to include the vibrant reds of the tulips. If you ever see a photographer lying down in a public place, this could well be the reason why! These tulips were next to a bus stop and it’s a proven fact that a photographer lying down to photograph tulips can distract the whole queue and the bus driver. Michelle recommends that when photographing tulips in Oviedo, someone, preferably your assistant, locates him or herself behind you to avoid potential road accidents. The right hand image shows the elegant plazas and architecture of Santander. On the far right are photographs of hand crafted ceramic tiles in the village of Comillas.
