“I travel a lot; I hate having my life disrupted by routine.” Caskie Stinnett. In 1989 Michelle took a year’s sabbatical to travel through the following countries: Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Columbia, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Belize, Mexico and Cuba.

Her travels in Latin America are, without doubt, what inspired her to embark upon a career as a travel photographer and relocate to Spain. Since then Michelle Chaplow’s work has been published worldwide and has taken her to Malta, Madeira, Morocco, Monaco, Myanmar, Malaysia, Portugal, France, Germany, Italy, Scotland, England, Gibraltar, Cyprus, Austria, Switzerland, Holland, Romania, Ukraine, Ireland, Finland, Uruguay, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, Colombia, UAE / Dubai, India, Oman, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Laos, Philippines, China, Hong Kong, India, Mauritius, Kenya, Singapore, Estonia and the United States of America.

The Senrg Tab Laan is a finger nail dance which is performed during joyful celebrations in Thailand. The dance symbolises joy and originates from the North East region of this beautiful Asian country, often referred to as “The land of smiles”, Thailand.
