JUNE 2018 SENTOSA, SINGAPORE
The Capella Hotel
It is the individual daily stories that come to form a hotel’s history, and sometimes this heritage takes the shape of illustrious guests and important meetings. In June 2018, President Donald Trump met North Korean Kim Jong-un at the Capella. This hotel was designed by renowned British architect Norman Foster & Partners, and is situated on Sentosa Island. The unprecedented meeting between the two world leaders will undoubtedly form a major part of the hotel´s history. Michelle carried out a photography assignment here in 2004, featuring some of the images below:

Photography for Andalucia.com
The White Village of Zahara de los Atunes is famous for its continued use of the ancient almadraba fishing technique for capturing highly prized blue-fin tuna. The expanse of golden sands along this stretch of Atlantic coast makes the town very attractive for both international and local visitors. The old town of Zahara now boasts interesting shops selling local handicrafts and artisanal produce, and of course superb fish restaurants. In 2006, Michelle photographed a model lying on a huge rock on the nearby beach, which has been published multiple times; returning to Zahara twelve years later, it still had its magical charm.
JUNE 2018 DURHAM,UK
Indigo Hotel
A new hotel has opened in Durham city in what was once the old Shire Hall, where many of the Durham County Council meetings were held. Their restaurant boasts the building’s original oak paneling. Originally from Durham herself, Michelle sees the Indigo as a fine example of historic preservation in the English city.
