October 2010, London Photo Shoot with Celebrity Chef Jose Pizarro

Michelle met with Spanish Celebrity Chef Jose Pizarro in London to shoot a home page feature for Andalucia.com. The images were shot on location in José’s home and at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower club lounge.

As the author of interview Fiona Flores Watson wrote Jose has “No tantrums, no ego, no geezer antics – Jose Pizarro loves cooking, wants his customers to enjoy his food, and is passionate about Spanish products. Charming, modest and easy-going, this chef from Extremadura, southern Spain talks exclusively to andalucia.com about his experiences of living and working in London, his new restaurant, and his plans to open a hotel in Spain.”

Jose was indeed a pleasure to photograph.

October 2010, The Savoy Hotel, London

The Savoy Hotel reopened after a £ 220-million refurbishment on the 10.10.2010. Michelle, with her passion for photographing luxury hotels, went to check it out. It’s all that you would expect – plush , salubrious and impeccable. You can almost see your reflection in the marble tiles while the Art Decor touches take you straight back to the 1920s. The afternoon tea, the tea rooms and the cocktail bar entice you to add a room at the Savoy to your world travelling wish list. There is a tea shop where you can buy exotic brews from around the world and hand made premises. It has it all.

October 2010, The Most Famous Hotels in the World, London

Michelle met with Andreas Augustin, president of The Most Famous Hotels in the World to discuss forthcoming projects for 2011. In this digital and online world there is still nothing like a one-to-one meeting for networking and planning. Meetings were held with the Jumeriah group and next year a new edition of their best-selling book on the Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok will be prepared.
